The proposal is to build a 80 unit assisted living & memory care unit on the north side of the ball fields. Reportedly, letters were sent by the developers to a residents within 500 feet of the proposed location of an already..informational' meeting, however, I did not receive this letter, nor did others based upon an email string Suzanne forwarded to me. Todd Swkrczek of the city planning department advised this was going to be a three story building, however, no drawing has been submitted of the building as yet. The architect indicated he 'thought' it would only be a two story building, but had no drawings to submit for review.

This is a major change from the approved mixed use agreement for the area. I have concerns regarding the appropriateness of this proposal due to the fact that this is primarily a residential area that should remain such. While not all of the residents will drive, some likely will, there will be a large number of employees, deliveries will be required for food and supplies, medical professionals, ect...

I have concerns regarding this proposed change due to the current high level of traffic on 120th as it stands today without this addition. I would also question the impact on property values in the area. |
